We would like to announce a leadership transition at Macanda. Effective August 23rd, Åsa By, co-founder and partner of Macanda, has been appointed acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She will succeed Emma Medin, who has decided to step down from her role. We extend our gratitude to Emma’s contributions in leading the organisation through its successful early growth phase and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
Åsa By brings over twenty years of experience from the life science sector, including previous CEO and other senior leadership roles in consultancy and pharmaceutical companies. Under Åsa's leadership Macanda will maintain focus on sustainable growth and continued provision of the high-quality services that you have come to expect from us. Meanwhile, the search for a permanent CEO is underway, developments will be posted here!
